Experience how energy is generated in the Tamina Valley!

Water from the Calfeisen valley and the neighbouring Weisstannen valley, is collected in the Gigerwald reservoir lake and channelled through turbines in the power stations Mapragg by Vadura and Sarelli by Bad Ragaz.

Die Zentrale Mapgragg liegt bei Vasön, etwas weiter vorne im Calfeisental als die Staumauer Gigerwald. Auf Wanderkarten sind beide Stauseen gut erkennbar.
