Hierbei handelt es sich um die älteste aktive Whisky-Destillerie des Schottischen Hochlands. Seit ihrer Gründung im Jahr 1786 hat sie sich über Landesgrenzen hinweg einen Namen gemacht. Ihr Name ist vom nahe gelegenen Fluss isla inspiriert. Besucher können die Brennerei im Rahmen einer englischsprachigen Führung erkunden und verschiedene Whisky-Sorten verkosten. Zur Brennerei zäht auch ein Geschenk-Shop.
