Artisan potier François Albrecht

I am a craftsman settled in Obernai, since about thirty years, where I practice my trade as a ceramic potter. I mainly work with glazed clay, a traditional technique in Alsace, which I try to revisit using brighter colours and more personal shapes. My production is made of utilitarian and decorative objects often decorated with very colourful decorations. All the pottery, which you will find in the shop adjoining my carriage situated on the Freppel rampart at the entrance to the town centre of Obernai, is made exclusively on the spot!
