The Salzhof culture and event centre was opened in 2003. The remodelling and renovation work was successfully carried out in close cooperation with the Federal Monuments Office. The exemplary renovation and restoration of the Salzhof has provided an important impetus for the revitalisation of Freistadt's historic city centre.
The degree of utilisation of the Salzhof is enormous. The people of Freistadt are enthusiastic about the various possibilities. Freistadt is proud of the Salzhof.

Directions
Car:Drive on the S10 from Linz in the direction of Prague (CZ) and leave the motorway at the Freistadt exit. Drive towards "Zentrum" into the city centre and take the first left (Salzgasse). The destination is located after a few hundred metres on the left-hand side.
