Rocher du Falkenstein

Located 3km from Dambach-la-Ville, the Falkenstein culminates at 662m. It is a granite rock of about 50 meters above the Villé Valley. From its summit, the view over the Valley is very beautiful. The rock is suitable for beginner to intermediate climbers
To get there: in Blienschwiller (9 km north of Sélestat), take the D203 in the direction of Villé, shortly before the D203/253 crossroads turn left (south) on a tarmac forest road to Schulwaldplatz, park Continue on foot for 500 m until you reach the Kaesmarkt (cross) from where a path leads to the right to the Falkenstein (40 minutes)
