The highlight and insider tip at the same time is the Calmont via ferrata, which leads you with partly alpine challenges between Eller and Bremm at an altitude of 200 to 300 metres above the Moselle across the steepest vineyards in Europe. Great challenges await hiking and climbing enthusiasts!

Europe‘s steepest vineyard, with climbing trail. At difficult passages, the via ferrata is rendered safer by ladders, handrails and steps. Anyone daring the ascent will be rewarded with a wonderful panorama.

The Calmont Klettersteig  trail can be walked all year round, but should only be walked in dry weather. A hike here is not recommended when it is raining or wet.

Hallo, eine weniger steile Möglichkeit gibt es nicht. Es ist ein Weg der durch die Weinberge führt, egal in welche Richtung. Der Weg an sich ist auch für weniger gute Wanderer geeignet, Trittsicher sollte man aber trotzdem sein. Vom Klettersteig führt noch ein Weg zum Gipfelkreuz, er ist aber relativ steil. Von dort kann man dann weitergehen. Das Gipfelkreuz ist auch mit dem Auto zu erreichen.

Hallo Andreas! Also meiner Meinung nach sollten die Kinder nicht jünger als 10 sein. Teilweise geht es schon mal sehr nah an Abhängen vorbei. Außerdem wird es sonst schon mal schwierig, wenn es über Leitern oder Klettereisen geht.

Hallo Andreas, Mit Kindern ist der Klettersteig so eine Sache. Es könnte ziemlich gefährlich werden. Es geht nämlich zum Teil direkt am Abhang vorbei. Meiner Meinung nach sollten die Kinder mindestens 12-14 Jahre sein, je nach Vorkenntnissen. Sie müssen sich gut festhalten können, sehr trittsicher sein.

Hallo, bei dem Klettersteig brauchst du keine Kletterausrüstung. Man sollte natürlich Schwindelfrei sein und eine gute Trittsicherheit haben. Ansonsten ist der Klettersteig für einen geübten Wanderer gut zu bewältigen. Viel Spaß beim Wandern PS: Der Klettersteig ist klasse.
