Mint anya a két gyermekével – olvashatjuk az épületegyüttesről a templom előtti téren található kis infótáblán. Érdekes családi kapcsolat ez, hiszen az egyik gyermek születése jóval megelőzte az anyáét, majd újabb két évszázad telt el a második gyermek világra jöttéig. A família legidősebb tagja a templomtól északra álló Szent Kereszt-kápolna: valószínűleg a 16. században épült, ekkor temető vehette körül az épületet.
A középpontban az 1770-1775 között épült, Szent Miklós tiszteletére szentelt templom áll, melynek tornya 47 méteres magasságig nyújtózik. A torony mind a négy oldalán óra mutatja a pontos időt, a főbejárati barokk kapu felett pedig a templom építtetője, a falu kegyura, gróf Zichy Ferenc győri püspök címere látható. A kapun belépve a „szegények házába” érkezünk – régen a szegények, koldusok csak idáig jöhettek, így nem volt lehetőségük közelről megcsodálni az aranyozott, faragott, márványutánzatúra festett szószéket, a gazdag rokokó díszítésű orgonát vagy a főoltárt, amelyen a nagyméretű olajkép Szent Miklós életéből vett jeleneteket ábrázol.
A templomból kilépve a déli oldalon áll a kis épületcsalád legfiatalabb tagja, az I. világháborúban elesetteknek emléket állító Hősök kápolnája, amely 1929-ben a falu lakóinak adományából a Szent Kereszt-kápolna mintájára épült. A templom előtti téren találjuk Szent Miklós szobrát, illetve egy kis kutat.
