The Ingwiller synagogue was built in 1822 as a charming 18th-century building in the neo-Romanesque style.
It was built on the remains of the Gothic cellar of the former castle of the Counts of Lichtenberg. Admire its copper-clad, Oriental-style bulbous bell tower, dating from 1913.
