Am südlichen Stadtrand auf dem Hochufer der Werra steht die Stadtkirche von Berka. Älterster Teil der Kirche ist der Juliusturm, welcher ursprünglich zur Stadtbefestigung gehörte. Er wurde 1439 erbaut und besitzt einen achteckigen Dachaufsatz mit vier Ecktürmen. Das Langhaus der Kirche stammt aus dem Jahr 1616 und ist im Renaissance-Stil gehalten. Besonders sehenswert ist die kunstvoll bemalte Holztonnendecke.
