The massive travertine stone façade is striking for its magnificent portal, decorated with materials salvaged from ancient Roman-era buildings. To the right stands the bell tower, which took on its current appearance in the 1400s.
The interior is spacious and divided into three naves.
The altar area is raised to accommodate one of the most evocative spaces in the entire building beneath it: the ancient crypt. This mysterious underground space is divided into four small naves, and its ceiling is supported by ancient columns, some of which were salvaged from Roman ruins.
Along the right aisle, you can admire 17th-century frescoes, ancient chapels, and the wooden statue of Saint Vincent.
The true treasure, however, is located near the altar: the splendid silver statue of the patron saint. If you look closely at the back of his throne, you can even make out a beautiful, ancient panoramic view of Bevagna.
