Die Pfarrkirche wurde 1674 erbaut und 1764 spätbarock umgestaltet. Sie ist dem Diözesan- und Bergbaupatron Rupertus geweiht, der auch am Hochaltarbild dargestellt ist. Die Einrichtung stammt z.T. vom Mittersiller Bildhauer Petrus Schmid d. J., die Deckengemälde großteils von Virgil Groder (um 1904). Bemerkenswert die Figurengruppen auf dem Friedhof.
