1893 wurde ein gravierender Umbau der Kirche vorgenommen. So wurde: der Eingang von der Dorfstraße her der Haupteingang, ein neuer Altar an erhöhter entgegengesetzter Seite errichtet, bunte und mehrfarbige Fenster eingesetzt, neues Gestühl und neue Emporen eingebaut.
1902 erhielt der Glockenturm einen spitzen Turm. Gemeinsam mit der Schule bildet die Kirche ein interessantes Bauensemble.
