Den Turm der weißen Segelkirche sehen Sie bereits, wenn Sie am Ortseingang von Hörnum sind. Direkt vor dem Leuchtturm erhebt sich unser Kirchturm, beides sind Orientierungszeichen!
Traumhaft gelegen ist unsere weiße Segelkirche St. Thomas auf der Düne in Hörnum. Tritt man ein, wird man von einem Kirchenraum empfangen, der Klarheit atmet. In der Ausstattung bewusst zurückhaltend gehalten, dominiert ein heller Farbton – außer im Sommer, wenn die Abendsonne durch das Westfenster scheint, und die Farben des Glasfensters auf die Altarwand malt. Die Kirche zeichnet sich durch eine hervorragende Akustik aus. Daran freuen wir uns im Gottesdienst und in der sommerlichen Konzertreihe.
