Das geistliche Zentrum des Ortes Oberauerbach bildet die Pfarrkirche St. Mauritius, die um 1500 errichtet wurde.
1753 gestaltete man den Innenraum der Kirche um. Die Ausstattung stammt aus verschiedenen Zeiten. Zur Pfarrei gehören auch die Orte Unterauerbach und Stetten.
