Dorfkirche am Genusspfad Vogtlands Früchte

Im Jahre 1612 wurde das ganze Dorf nebst Kirche, Pfarre und Schule mit Ausnahme der Rittergutsgebäude ein Raub der Flammen. Der Ostgiebel der Kirche mit den Rundbogenfenstern blieb mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit erhalten.

1614-1618 wurde das Gotteshaus wieder aufgebaut.

Die als Saalbau mit eingezogenem Chor errichtete und 1688 mit einem Dachreiterturm versehene Kirche zeigt heute noch diese Form
