The church was built in 1856/57. In 1904, a pulpit and high altar from Kirchheimbolanden were added, and in 1946 a new organ was installed. From 1999 to 2001, extensive renovation work was carried out.
The east-facing, simply designed hall building with a three-sided choir closure and round-arched sandstone detailing is protected by a gable roof with a four-sided shingled ridge turret. The architectural style is oriented towards the form language of the regionally typical baroque village churches. Significant is the blue band that surrounds the interior of the church. It symbolizes the community of believers and the connection with all the saints in heaven.
