Passering, Filialkirche hl. Margareta
Die urkundlich erstmals 1124 erwähnte Kirche ist eine im Kern romanische Saalkirche mit einem eingezogenen polygonalen Chor mit 5/8 Schluss, spätgotischer Sakristei und einem 6-eckigen, mit Steinplattln gedeckten Dachreiter im Osten. Bemerkenswert ist das spätgotische, spitzbogige, profilierte Westportal mit einer Eisenplattentür. Die Einrichtung besteht aus einem barocken Hochaltar von 1689 mit Altarfiguren Madonna flankiert von den hll. Matthäus und Laurentius. Besonders schön sind die beiden spätgotischen Flügelaltäre: der linke Seitenaltar von 1525 mit einer Figurengruppe Schutzmantelmadonna im Schrein flankiert von den hll. Sebastian und Rochus und zahlreichen Heiligendarstellungen auf den Flügeln geschaffen vom Meister des Georgsaltares in Maria Saal. Der rechte Flügelaltar, ehemals der Hauptaltar, stammt aus der St. Veiter Schnitzwerkstatt um 1505 – 1510. Auf beiden Altären ist eine Darstellung der hl. Margareta, der Kirchenpatronin, zu finden. Die Kirche birgt außerdem im Langhaus ein spätgotisches Kruzifix (um 1525) aus derselben Werkstatt wie der linke Seitenaltar.
