Filialkirche Gailitz

Die 1490 erbaute und der hl. Maria geweihte Filial- und Wallfahrtskirche, beherrschend auf einem Felskegel gelegen, wurde in den letzten Tagen des Zweiten Weltkrieges durch einen Bombenangriff vollständig zerstört. Erst im Jahre 1999 kam es über eine Privatinitiative zur Sanierung der Kirchenruine. Die Kirche wurde auf den Resten des Chormauerwerkes um einiges kleiner als ursprünglich wieder aufgebaut und 2004 eingeweiht.
