Dedicated to Saint Nicolas, the church's most striking feature is its Romanesque bell tower, visible from the entire fore-valley. Along with Dieffenbach-au-Val and Fouchy, Neuve Eglise boasts one of the few medieval bell towers in the Vallée de Villé.
The current building has a rectangular nave, added to the bell tower in 1735. The sacristy also dates from this period, masking the occulus of the wall tabernacle to the left of the choir. The stained glass windows, depicting episodes in the life of the Virgin Mary, date from 1955. The organ was installed in 1961.
