The old church of Jaun (Cantorama), located opposite the waterfall, now serves as a concert hall. Primarily classical vocal and instrumental works from the Renaissance to the modern era are performed. In addition, regional songs, folk music and folklore as well as jazz also have their place in the program.

Since its opening in 1992, originally under the name House of Fribourg Choral Singing, the Cantorama of Jaun has become a popular meeting place for choirs, professional singers, instrumentalists and amateur musicians.

The name Cantorama refers to the connection between hearing (canto) and seeing (rama). Thanks to the excellent acoustics and the ideal dimensions of the room, there is an almost tangible proximity to the performers. The effect of the sound in this beautiful sacred building makes every concert a lasting experience.
