Über 450 Jahre alt ist der Wallfahrtsort Maria Elend in Embach. Er umfasst die Gnadenkapelle mit einer schönen Pietà aus Steinguss, die Ursprungskaplle („Sternenkinder“-Kapelle) mit einem Bild „Maria vom Guten Rat“ (mit Pilgern!) sowie das bekannte „Augenbrünnl“.
