Die Kreuzkapelle Wettingen, 1660 erbaut im Kreuzungsspitz der Landstrasse nach Würenlos, steht heute in einem vom Verkehr stark belasteten Gebiet am Ostrand der Gemeinde Wettingen.

2006 wurde sie restauriert.

Nach längeren archäologischen und denkmalpflegerischen Untersuchungen wurde die Restaurierung auf die Zeitepoche um 1890 festgelegt. Das Kapelleninnere und das äussere Erscheinungsbild samt Umgebung waren Bestandteil des umfassenden Bauvorhabens.

Im Türmchen befinden sich zwei Glocken. Eine aus dem Jahre 1796, von der Glockengiesserei Berg in Zug, und eine von 1900, von der Glockengiesserei Rüetschi in Aarau. Beide wurden beim Umbau durch die Glockengiesserei Rüetschi aus Aarau umfassend restauriert.

Die Glocken der Kapelle sind täglich um
08.00 Uhr, 12.00 Uhr und um 18.00 Uhr zu hören, ausserdem läuten sie jeweils am Samstag um 17.00 Uhr mit allen anderen Kirchenglocken von Wettingen den Sonntag ein.
