Capitello Madonna-Bec de Roces

The statue, known locally as the Madona dei Bec de Roces, is kept at the refuge of the same name in a niche. It was blessed in 1991 and since then, in the days leading up to Ferragosto, it leaves its niche to be transported to the church in Arabba. On 15 August, it is taken back to the refuge, and on arrival at the Bec de Roces, a holy mass is celebrated. The statue is also called Madonna dell'Accoglienza (Our Lady of Hospitality) because of the open arms that seem to want to welcome every needy person.
