Die Auerkapelle wurde um 1700 als Holzkapelle errichtet. 1836 folgte dann ein Steinbau. Einst beherbergte sie eine Steinguss-Muttergottes aus dem 15. Jahrhundert, die sich heute aus Sicherheitsgründen aber im Landesmuseum Innsbruck befindet.
