Exceptionally preserved, the great moulins between Nago and Torbole offer you the chance to explore a prehistoric site that bears witness to the ancient human presence.
The charm of prehistory often clashes with the difficulty of catching its traces by archaeologists and visitors. These large glacial wells, however, offer you a particularly rare opportunity: to stroll in a place steeped in the past and still incredibly intact. The Marmitte dei Giganti are huge cavities, up to 5 meters wide and 12 meters deep, thus renamed in honor of local legends. Reachable from the panoramic road from Nago to Torbole following the path, they have been preserved in an unusual way. Particularly interesting are the prehistoric artefacts from the 4th and 3rd millennia BC. Climbing enthusiasts can take advantage of the nearby rock gym with shots of varying length and difficulty.
