Around 700 metres of the cave are accessible as a show cave, allowing visitors to experience the mysterious underground landscape safely. Well-maintained walkways, steps and bridges guide you through impressive halls, narrow passages and past unusual rock formations. Inside the cave, temperatures remain constant at around 6 to 8 °C throughout the year, creating a cool and unique atmosphere.
Lamprecht's Cave is also surrounded by legend. According to local folklore, the robber knight Lamprecht once hid a valuable treasure deep inside the cave. These stories add an extra sense of mystery to the visit and have fascinated people for centuries.
A particularly atmospheric experience is a lantern tour, where you explore the cave in soft light and discover its quiet, magical character in a completely different way. Whether as a family excursion, a refreshing summer outing or an adventure in bad weather, a visit to Lamprecht's Cave is truly memorable.
