Unterhalb von Schloss Bronnen liegt die Jägerhaushöhle.
In der Jägerhaushöhle wurden in den 1970er Jahren zahlreiche Knochenwerkzeuge und Jagdwaffen aus der Mittelsteinzeit (8000-5000 v.Chr.) gefunden, welche die Besiedlung des Oberen Donautals in dieser Zeit belegen. Die Funde zeigten die in Mitteleuropa umfassendste Kulturabfolge der Mittelsteinzeit auf. Diese Epoche wird daher auch als Beuronien bezeichnet, obwohl die Höhle auf der Gemarkung der Stadt Fridingen und nicht der nahegelegenen Gemeinde Beuron liegt.
