The huts of Artá are one of the natural jewels in the north of the island.
From the village of Artá a wide river valley runs towards the coast, leading to the beach of Canyamel.In the bay of Canyamel, on the rocky slopes that extend to the rugged coastal cliffs of Cap Vermell, is the imposing entrance to the caves of Artá at a height of 35 metres.
.Visits to the caves take between 35 and 40 minutes, with guided tours every 30 minutes or so. The visits are guided tours and explanations are given in the following languages: Spanish, English, French and German.
The temperature in the cave is between 17 and 22 degrees Celsius, with high humidity. These values remain fairly stable throughout the year.
The path through the caves of Artá has a distance of über 700 metres, they have an approximate area of 6,000 m2.
The caves are located in the middle of the city.
The height of the halls ranges from 15 to 45 metres
