In the Monte Baldo Park, among ancient mines, bridges and unspoilt nature
Are you an adventure lover and not afraid to get your hands dirty or wet your feet? Are you bored by the usual guided hikes on normal mountain trails? Then this exit is for you: a dip in the canyon dug by the Sorna stream to discover ancient mines, bridges suspended over dark abysses, fairytale caves and smooth gorges dug and shaped by water. From the small village of Cornè you will cross the woods and then descend to the bed of the Sorna stream meeting "el pont del Diaol", an ancient bridge of great suggestion at the point where the stream falls into a ravine about thirty meters deep. The walk continues via equipped stairs to the old mines in the stream bed. If the temperature and water level allow, you can also take a hike in the stream and a dip in its natural pools, where you will be completely immersed in the Monte Baldo Park!
