Nur wenige Meter vom Museumsdorf entfernt liegt die Andreasgrube. Dort sind rund zehn Meter einer 200 Meter langen Grubenanlage freigelegt, in der früher Eisenerz im Tagebau gewonnen wurde. Die Knappen folgten damals dem senkrechten Verlauf der zwei bis drei Meter breiten Schicht in die Tiefe.
