Am oberen Erftverlauf zwischen Bliesheim und Liblar liegt die rund 900 Jahre alte historische Wasserburganlage Buschfeld. Sie gilt als eine der ersten befestigten Wasserburgen des heutigen Rhein-Erft-Kreises. Ihre hohe Bedeutung lag im Mittelalter in ihrer strategischen Lage im Kurfürstentum Köln an der Grenze zum Herzogtum Jülich. Nach umfangreichen Sanierungen wird es heute als Wohn- und Bürogebäude genutzt.

Keine Innenbesichtigung möglich. Die Außenanlage ist auf Anfrage zu besichtigen.
