A magical castle for the whole family!
Schlettau Castle from the 14th century is embedded in a romantic landscape park with a 750-year-old lime tree. In several buildings from different architectural periods, visitors will find a multifaceted museum: in addition to the permanent exhibition on the castle's history, there is a collection of Erzgebirge landscape art and a center for forest and wildlife history - particularly interesting for children and young people. In two show workshops, you can see demonstrations of traditional, regional handicrafts, namely those of the tinsmiths and herbal liqueur makers. Schlettau Castle is also a popular venue for events and is regarded as the cultural meeting point of the upper Ore Mountains.
