OTI Pyrénées Méditerranée
A la demande du Comte de Mailly, la redoute Mailly fut construite à partir de 1780 pour défendre l’entrée du port, comme les deux anciennes redoutes de Béar et du Fanal. L’ouvrage est sensiblement semi-circulaire et entouré de fossés taillés dans le roc. Il supportait autrefois un bâtiment allongé, dynamité en 1944, il ne reste aujourd’hui que quelques pans de murs. Inscrite à l’inventaire des monuments historiques en 1991.
