Stagecoach Bluebird bus route numbers 201, 202 and 203 from the entrance to Aberdeen Bus Station to Crathes Estate.
Directions
Due to construction work on the Rob Roy Bridge, which will begin in June and last for six months, we suggest the following travel options:
A90 - South of Aberdeen
From Stonehaven, take the A957 Slug Road. After approx. 20 km turn left onto the A93 and after approx. 200 meters turn right to Crathes Estate.
Aberdeen City South - South Deeside Route
From Bridge of Dee (AB10 7JP) take the B9077 South Deeside Road. After approx. 20 km turn right onto the A957 Slug Road. After approx. 700 meters turn left onto the A93 and after approx. 200 meters turn right to Crathes Estate.
Aberdeen City West - Garlogie Route
From North Anderson Drive take the A944 Lang Stract. After approx. 12 km turn left onto the B9125. After approx. 3 km turn left onto Coupers Road. After approx. 5 km, turn right onto the A93 and after 3 km turn left onto Crathes Estate.
Parking
There is a paid parking lot directly at Crathes Castle. The parking fee is £2 and is used to maintain the paths. The parking lot is free for members of National Trust Scotland.Coordinates
