Map / Château de Petit Geroldseck
Probably built in the middle of the 13th century by the lords of Geroldseck. The small Geroldseck was a fief of the bishopric of Metz, from which the lordship of Marmoutier came. It already exists in 1235 when "two lands of Gerolsec" are mentioned: in the first half of the 14th century. It is named new Geroldseck. It seems to have been abandoned very early. Probably as early as the 15th century. Text : Jean-Michel RUDRAUF.
