The Prem Castle is located in the village of the same name south of Postojna in Slovenia.
The castle is located on a hill above the village of Prem. Besides the fortification walls and towers, the main house is also preserved. On a tour of the castle with the audio guide you can learn more about the history of Grad Prem. The audio guide is available in several languages. From the castle you have a great view over the village to the church, which is also elevated, as well as over the green surroundings. There is a small shop where you can buy a souvenir.

From Ljubljana, follow the E61 in a south-westerly direction and after Postojna/Adelsberg take the exit towards Rijeka/Ilirska Bistrica/Pivka/Reka. Then follow Route 6 in a southerly direction and turn right towards Prem. In the village, drive to the castle.
