Arenenberg Castle is located on the Swiss lakeshore opposite the island of Reichenau with a wonderful view of the Untersee.
Napoleon III, the last emperor of the French, spent the most important years of his life here with his mother Hortense de Beauharnais, adoptive daughter and sister-in-law of Napoleon I.
Today, the doors of the castle open for you to travel back in time to the 19th century. You can stroll freely through the salons and enjoy the park, which has been redesigned according to the historical model.
