Parkanlage rund um das Alte Schloss in Bayreuth

Die Anlage wurde auf Geheiß von Markgraf Georg Wilhelm unweit der Residenzstadt Bayreuth errichtet. Sein Nachfolger Markgraf Friedrich machte das Gelände seiner Ehefrau Wilhelmine zum Geschenk, die davon begeistert war und sofort umfangreiche Erweiterungsmaßnahmen in Auftrag gab. So entstand eine einzigartige Kombinantion aus barocken Gärten, Wasserspielen und hübsch angeordneten Gebäuden.
