Over the years, however, the creeks supposedly lost their usefulness and were often only seen as a traffic obstacle. With their gradual disappearance, however, a piece of genuine Munich distinctiveness gave way to modernity.
Today, the streams, including Auer Mühlbach, are seen by residents in particular as an oasis of relaxation and deceleration in the often draining city life. Here the world still seems to be in order.
