The hut is just 50 meters away from the junction of Porttivaara 19 km and Möykky 17 km ski tracks. In the Spring months you may enjoy your snack in lovely sunshine at the outdoor table.
In the summer months, the hut is reached from the UKK hiking route from Rönkkö to Vuokatti Sport Institute. Many mountain bikers also head to these trails.
This is a possible destination also with children: Start your journey from the old domestic work school of Sotkamo at Koulurinne, address: Emäntäkouluntie 10, 88610 Vuokatti. Walk along the Kettumäki 10 km skitrack base, the huts is 1,1 km from the parking lot.
