At the Arvenseeli there is a wonderful barbecue area with a large barbecue, firewood and seating.

Wonderfully suitable for families. The barbecue area can also be reached with a suitable stroller.

Arrival at Kandersteg railway station

The Lötschberg to the south, the Kandertal to the north: this railway station between Brig (38 min.) and Bern (61 min.) has an hourly service - an ideal base for many excursions.

Arrival Sunnbüel

Please get on in the direction of Gemmi Pass and Arvenseen! The AFA bus runs every hour from Kandersteg railway station to the cable car valley station within 10 minutes. The cable car then takes you comfortably up to 1936 metres above sea level.
