Für kurze Weile sorgt dabei ein Hörspiel, dass nicht zuletzt auf die direkte Einfahrt in den Welterbe-Perimeter aufmerksam macht. Oben angekommen geht die Entdeckungsreise auf dem Rundweg über den Firstboden weiter. Während einer Wanderung von 1,5 Stunden erfährt man Interessantes über die Geologie, das Welterbe Sardona und die Tschinglen-Alp. Die Krönung der Wanderung bildet der Firstboden auf 1‘750 m ü.M. Auf dieser natürlichen Terrasse wurde ein Rundholzbau geschickt ins Gelände eingefügt.
Überwältigend ist die Aussicht und bestechend der direkte Blick zum sagenumwobenen Martinsloch. Wer das Panorama genauer unter die Lupe nehmen möchte, findet beim Überschiebungsblick das Tschinglenbuch, welches die vielen Gipfel beim Namen nennt.
Eine Feuerstelle und ein schöner Holztisch laden zum Verweilen ein. Zurück auf der Tschinglen-Alp heisst die Tschinglen-Wirtschaft zur gemütlichen Einkehr willkommen, bevor es über den Schluchtenweg oder mit der Luftseilbahn ins Tal zurück geht.
