The town hall is only open for meetings of the municipal council and its committees as well as for the consultation hours of the local mayor and councillors. For more information, please refer to the homepage of the Rodalben municipality.

The Merzalben - Rathaus bus stop is freely accessible all year round. Timetables for routes 248 and 256 can be found on the VRN and Suedwestpfalz-Nahverkehr websites. At times when there is no bus service, a call-and-collect taxi stops here. It is possible to order a taxi (at least 60 minutes in advance) by dialling the central telephone number 0621-1077077. The bus stop is a good starting point for stage 6 of the Palatinate Forest Trail from Merzalben to Hauenstein (for more information, please contact the Gräfensteiner Land tourist information centre).
