The Wireworks Bridge near Tintern

The Wireworks Bridge is located near Tintern in Monmouthshire, Wales and was used for outdoor filming of the Netflix series Sex Education.

The bridge takes you across the River Wye. In the Netflix series, the main characters Otis and Eric use the bridge to get to school. If you cross the bridge in the direction of Tintern, it is not far from there to the old monastery ruins of Tintern Abbey, which is well worth a visit.

Hello Tilted Anvil, the bridge has not yet re-opened, but according to the newest update from April, the repairs should be finished in early May 2023. Best regards, Kathrin
