A contemporary, pedestrian and cyclist tilt bridge.
The Millennium Bridge was the first bridge built which had the ability to be rotated on its longitudinal axis through its pivot points allowing ships to pass under the bridge. The bridge allows pedestrians and cyclists to cross the River Tyne.
