Die Laufenbrücke verbindet die beiden Zwillingsstädte Laufenburg (Schweiz) und Laufenburg (Deutschland) auf beiden Seiten des Hochrheins an seiner schmalsten Stelle. Unterhalb der Brücke befand sich einst der Kleine Laufen, eine gefährliche Stromschnelle. Daher stammt der Name Laufenburg.
