These are the landmarks of the railway. Two bridges span the Kander Valley and its river at the height of about 28 metres (92 ft.) above the ground.

The old brick viaduct with eleven arches made of natural stone is particularly striking. Constructed in 1911, it is one of the most photographed structures on the Lötschberg mountain route. At the foot of the bridge, you can admire the century-old milestone (11 hours to Bern).
