Die Brücke ist 55 m lang, 2 m breit und führt in 11 m Höhe über den Hirschbichlklausgraben. Weiter oberhalb hat 1999 ein gewaltiger Felssturz den vorderen Teil des Kleinen Mühlsturzhorns (2141 m) mit sich gerissen. Von der Hängebrücke hat man einen beeindruckenden Blick in die Schlucht mit dem wilden Gebirgsbach und auf die Ramsauer Dolomiten.
