Anichkov Bridge

Anichkov Bridge is an arched bridge across the Fontanka River in the Central District of St. Petersburg, connecting the Spassky and Bezymyanny Islands.

One of the most famous bridges in St. Petersburg. It became one of the symbols of St. Petersburg. Anichkov Bridge is one of the main structures of the architectural ensemble of Nevsky Prospect. In 2001, it was included in the list of cultural heritage sites of Russia of federal significance and is under state protection.

Located along the axis of Nevsky Prospect. Near the bridge are the Anichkov Palace, the Beloselsky-Belozersky Palace, the Fountain House.

Upstream is the Belinsky Bridge, below the Lomonosov Bridge.

The bridge is located between the metro stations "Gostiny Dvor" and "Mayakovskaya".

Mayakovskaya - exit the metro to Nevsky Prospekt, turn left and move towards the bridge.

Gostiny Dvor - exit the metro to Nevsky Prospekt, turn right and move towards the bridge.
