Umgeben von einem dichtem Spirkenwald (eine Form der Berg-Kiefer) liegt der Blindensee wie ein Juwel in seiner Fassung. Ein hölzerner Bohlenweg führt durch eine archaische Welt aus tückisch-sumpfigem Boden und einem Teppich von Rauschbeerensträuchern bis zur Aussichtsplattform am kreisrunden, dunklen Hochmoorsee.
